My good friends Ben and Katie came to town to visit us in August (brave souls, venturing down south in the heat of the summer). Katie and I were in culinary school together, hit it off, and we've been trading visits back and forth since Luke and I moved back to Austin. We're trying to convince them to move here, so we ate Torchy's, visited Laguna Gloria, took them to see the bats, had donuts at Gourdough's, spent a morning at the lake. All in all, a perfect Austin weekend.
